Code 93 barcode symbology is
advanced version of Code 39 designed to encode 47
characters including entire ASCII character set. Code 93
is discrete, high density, alphanumerical barcode font
developed in 1982 by Intermec Technologies.
Code 93 is variable length barcode symbology which does
not support self checking.
Code 93 can also be designated as Code 93 Full ASCII,
ANSI/AIM Code 93, Code 93 Extended, Uniform Symbology
Specification Code 93, USD-3, USS Code 93, USS 93,
Code9/3 and USD-93.
Character set of Code 93 Barcode
Code 93 barcode symbology includes 47 characters
comprising of :
- Capital letters (A-Z).
- Special Characters such as space, minus (-), period (.), dollar sign ($), slash (/), percent (%) and plus (+).

Structure of Code 93 Barcode
The structure of Code 93 barcode symbology covers subsequent characters:
